Terms of Use

Last updated September 6, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the RigScore website, services, reports, scoring tools, recommendations, features, and related services available through MyRigScore.com (collectively, the “Service”). RigScore is operated by OverSpec Gaming LLC (“RigScore,” “OverSpec Gaming,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, uploading a file, connecting a third-party account, generating a RigScore, or otherwise using any RigScore feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Is RigScore?

RigScore is a PC hardware analysis and gaming-performance information platform designed to help users understand, compare, and evaluate computer hardware.

Depending on the features used, RigScore may analyze computer hardware and system specifications; DXDiag and similar system-information data; CPU and GPU information; RAM; storage; display information; operating-system and driver information; gaming-related information; Steam account, library, game, and play-history information when voluntarily connected; and other information voluntarily provided by the user.

RigScore may use this information to generate a numerical RigScore, including scores on a 0–1000 scale; hardware summaries; gaming-performance estimates; game-specific performance information; bottleneck analysis; hardware comparisons; upgrade recommendations; estimated FPS; hardware suitability assessments; estimated resale values; recommended PCs, components, monitors, peripherals, or other products; personalized recommendations; and shareable RigScore reports. Features may be added, modified, removed, or updated over time.

2. RigScore Is an Estimate, Not a Benchmark Guarantee

A RigScore is a proprietary analytical score intended to provide a simplified assessment of a computer’s hardware configuration and expected capabilities. It is not an industry-standard benchmark, laboratory test, certification, warranty, appraisal, or guarantee of actual performance.

Two computers with similar or identical hardware may perform differently because of cooling, power limits, BIOS settings, overclocking, drivers, operating-system configuration, background applications, component quality, laptop power profiles, thermal throttling, game updates, network conditions, display settings, and other variables.

Scores and methodologies may change as RigScore improves its models, databases, weighting systems, benchmarks, and methodologies. A score generated at one time may therefore differ from a score generated later for the same system.

3. Performance and FPS Estimates

Any FPS estimate, gaming-performance estimate, resolution recommendation, graphics-setting recommendation, or similar prediction provided by RigScore is an estimate only. Actual gaming performance may vary materially based on game version and patches, graphics settings, resolution, upscaling technologies, frame generation, ray tracing, drivers, clock speeds, RAM configuration, cooling, power limits, background software, game-engine behavior, multiplayer conditions, hardware configuration, and other system-specific factors.

RigScore does not guarantee that a computer will achieve any stated or estimated frame rate, latency, benchmark result, graphics setting, resolution, refresh rate, or other performance level.

4. AI-Generated and Automated Analysis

Certain RigScore features may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, algorithms, third-party data, automated analysis, or combinations of these technologies. AI-generated and automated information can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or incorrect.

Users should independently verify important technical information before purchasing, selling, replacing, modifying, overclocking, installing, or otherwise making decisions regarding computer hardware. RigScore should be treated as an informational decision-support tool rather than an authoritative source of technical truth.

5. Hardware Compatibility and Upgrade Recommendations

RigScore may recommend upgrades or replacement components based on available information about a system. A recommendation does not guarantee physical, electrical, thermal, firmware, BIOS, motherboard, case, power-supply, connector, operating-system, or other compatibility.

Before purchasing or installing any component, users are responsible for confirming compatibility with applicable manufacturer specifications. RigScore is not responsible for incompatible purchases, installation costs, damaged hardware, data loss, warranty issues, downtime, or other losses resulting from hardware changes made based on information provided through the Service.

6. Estimated Values and Resale Information

RigScore may provide estimated resale values, market values, comparable sales, trade-in information, or similar estimates. These values are informational estimates only and are not professional appraisals or guaranteed sale prices.

Actual value may vary based on condition, age, configuration, location, market demand, included accessories, warranties, seller reputation, marketplace fees, shipping costs, market fluctuations, and other factors. RigScore does not guarantee that a computer or component can be purchased or sold for any displayed amount.

7. Product Recommendations and Affiliate Links

RigScore may recommend computers, components, monitors, peripherals, accessories, or other products from third-party retailers or manufacturers. Some links may be affiliate links. If a user clicks an eligible affiliate link and makes a purchase, RigScore or OverSpec Gaming LLC may receive a commission or other compensation, at no additional cost to the user.

Compensation does not guarantee a favorable score or recommendation. Prices, inventory, specifications, promotions, warranties, shipping terms, and other retailer information can change without notice. Users are responsible for verifying this information directly with the retailer before purchasing.

Purchases are made from the applicable third-party retailer—not from RigScore—unless expressly stated otherwise. Third-party purchases are governed by the retailer’s own terms, policies, warranties, return policies, and privacy practices.

Affiliate disclosure: RigScore may earn a commission when users purchase products through certain links on the site.

8. User-Submitted Files and Information

Users may voluntarily provide information to RigScore, including DXDiag files, hardware information, gaming information, account information, or other data. By submitting information, the user represents that they have the right to provide it; that it does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights; and that RigScore is authorized to process the information as necessary to provide the requested Service.

Users should review files before uploading them and should not intentionally upload passwords, financial information, Social Security numbers, authentication credentials, private keys, or other highly sensitive information. Collection, processing, retention, and handling of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Third-Party Accounts and Services

RigScore may allow users to connect or provide information from third-party services, including gaming platforms such as Steam. By connecting a third-party account, users authorize RigScore to access and process information made available through that service according to granted permissions and applicable platform rules.

RigScore is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Valve Corporation or Steam unless expressly stated otherwise. Steam and other third-party names, trademarks, logos, games, and services belong to their respective owners.

Third-party integrations may become unavailable, change, contain inaccurate information, or stop functioning at any time. RigScore is not responsible for the operation or availability of third-party services.

10. Shareable RigScore Reports

RigScore may allow users to create URLs or reports designed to be shared with other people. Users are responsible for deciding whether to share a report or report URL.

A shared report may contain information about computer hardware, gaming activity, gaming library, usernames, profile information, or other information associated with submitted data or connected accounts. Users should not share a RigScore report if they do not want others to have access to the information displayed in that report.

11. Accounts

Certain features may require a RigScore account. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of account credentials and for activity conducted through their account. Users agree to provide accurate information and promptly notify RigScore if they believe an account has been compromised.

RigScore may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, interfere with its operation, or create security or legal risks.

12. Acceptable Use

Users may not use RigScore to violate applicable laws or regulations; upload malicious software or harmful code; attempt unauthorized access to RigScore systems; circumvent security or access controls; scrape or systematically extract data without authorization; reverse engineer the Service except where legally permitted; manipulate or falsify information to intentionally misrepresent a RigScore; impersonate another person; upload information without permission; interfere with the Service or other users; create unreasonable automated load; or copy or commercially exploit RigScore’s proprietary scoring methodology without authorization.

RigScore may restrict or terminate access for suspected abuse.

13. Intellectual Property

The RigScore name, scoring system, software, website design, graphics, reports, text, databases, algorithms, methodologies, branding, logos, and other original content associated with the Service are owned by or licensed to OverSpec Gaming LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, users may not reproduce, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer, create derivative commercial services from, or otherwise exploit proprietary RigScore materials without written permission. Users may share their own RigScore report for personal, social-media, marketplace, gaming-community, or other noncommercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

14. Third-Party Trademarks

All third-party product names, company names, game titles, trademarks, logos, and brands appearing on RigScore remain the property of their respective owners. References to NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, Microsoft, Steam, Valve, ASUS, MSI, Dell, Alienware, HP, Lenovo, Razer, Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, and others are for identification, compatibility, comparison, recommendation, or informational purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, their appearance on RigScore does not imply sponsorship, affiliation, partnership, or endorsement.

15. User Feedback

If users voluntarily provide suggestions, feedback, feature requests, ideas, or other comments concerning RigScore, they grant OverSpec Gaming LLC permission to use that feedback to develop, improve, market, and operate the Service without compensation or obligation.

16. Service Availability and Changes

RigScore may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, restrict, or replace any part of the Service at any time and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features, scoring methodologies, integrations, data sources, recommendations, report formats, and other aspects of the Service may change without notice.

17. No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RigScore and the Service are provided “as is” and “as available.”

OverSpec Gaming LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, non-infringement, availability, and compatibility.

RigScore does not warrant that scores, recommendations, estimates, data, AI-generated content, performance predictions, product information, or other results will be accurate, complete, current, or error-free.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OverSpec Gaming LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of RigScore.

This includes losses related to hardware purchases, hardware installation or modification, hardware failure or damage, lost or corrupted data, lost profits or revenue, lost gaming or computer use, incorrect performance estimates, incorrect compatibility information, incorrect resale estimates, third-party products or services, or decisions based on RigScore recommendations.

To the extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount paid directly to OverSpec Gaming LLC for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply.

19. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless OverSpec Gaming LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from unlawful use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

20. Not Professional Advice

RigScore provides technology and gaming-related information for informational purposes. Nothing provided through RigScore constitutes legal, financial, investment, tax, insurance, professional appraisal, or other regulated professional advice.

21. Children and Minors

RigScore is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Users who are not legally able to agree to these Terms should use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Additional information regarding children’s privacy is in the Privacy Policy.

22. Intellectual-Property Complaints

If a person believes content available through RigScore infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights, they may contact RigScore at overspecgaming@gmail.com and provide sufficient information to identify the allegedly infringing material and the rights believed to have been infringed. RigScore may remove or restrict access to material when appropriate.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Any dispute not subject to a separate enforceable dispute-resolution agreement will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Palm Beach County, Florida, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

24. Changes to These Terms

RigScore may update these Terms periodically as the Service evolves. When changes are made, the “Last Updated” date will be revised. Material changes may be communicated through additional means when required by applicable law. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

25. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

26. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific features, constitute the agreement between the user and OverSpec Gaming LLC concerning use of the Service.
